Test coverage:
If during the SDK integration you have setup the Alias mechanism, This test will confirm that your device was assigned an Alias.
Testing procedure:
- Make sure you have your device alias, you received the Alias while performing the Device Registration Test
- Create a Segment based on Alias, you can use the steps from the Use the 'Test Group' Feature with Alias procedure, make sure to use your test device alias.
- Create a push notification in your account and send it to your test device using the segment you've created in the last step.
- Make sure that your payload doesn't exceed the maximum size.
Expected results:
- When segment based on Alias is created the push enabled devices should indicate 1 (your device)
- Your Device should receive the Push notification you have sent.
- Make sure that the app corresponds with the analytics (once you have sent yourself a push notification, the dashboard will show Opt-In Users = 1).
